At Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond hospitality. Guided by the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, which emphasizes harmony between people, nature, and the spiritual, we are dedicated to preserving the island’s natural heritage. One of our proudest initiatives is the conservation of Bali’s native trees, an essential part of the local ecosystem and cultural identity.

Before construction began, we pledged that no tree would be removed without purpose or care. Working alongside environmental experts and local communities, we mapped every tree on the property and developed strategies to protect or safely relocate them. As a result, over 600 trees, some decades old, have been preserved or replanted throughout the resorts, ensuring that our development remains in balance with the environment.

OUR FAMILY TREE MEMBERS

The Hands Beneath the Leaves

Meet the cultivators, the quiet hearts who care for our gardens each day. With deep knowledge of the land and a love for nature, they tend to look after every tree, leaf, and path with passion and dedication.

Through gentle and patient nurturing, the team helps keeping the gardens green and the spirit of old Sanur Village alive. They don't ask to be seen, but their work shows in everything that grows; in the shade that shelters, the breeze that moves through the leaves, and the calm that fills the air.
